Motivation vs. Inspiration

I was listening to a lecture by Dr. Wayne Dyer, the other day. Dr. Dyer said, “I do not think it really possible to motivate another human being …”
I started thinking about it and I think Dr. Dyer is correct. I think there is a subtle and powerful distinction between motivation and inspiration.
Motivation occurs when someone convinces, persuades or coerces do something. The company has a new customer relations policy which states: “. All employees, when answering the phone, you must give the new sales pitch before identifying themselves and take the customer’s question” The motivation is twofold: not, creates an environment less favorable for the next evaluation period employees. Increased sales, however, will lead to greater sharing of benefits among all employees.
Motivation may also occur in flow or self-reflective of self. “Somehow I have to be motivated at work,” said a friend of mine.
In general, motivation requires a kick in the ass or in another car, in order to achieve a defined objective. But how many times these objectives are actually achieved? How effective is why the path of the event?
In politics, the motivation is imposed by law. If you do not pay your traffic ticket, your driver’s license has been suspended. Failure to pay taxes on the test results against him, fines and even imprisonment. A quick look at our society shows that the motivation of the sentence does not really avoid breaking the law. This is because motivation is based on fear, and too low on the emotional scale / vibration. The higher law, the universal “like attracts like” assures us that such “solutions” will only create more problems, so they need more laws, which in turn lead to more problems … soon reach a point where there are many laws and passed new laws for many, that Congress does not even have time to read! Congress has never read the laws passed).
Self-motivation is a little better, because it is more freedom of choice. If you’re tired of being overweight, then more exercise and better diet is a positive step in the right direction. What usually happens with self-motivation is that we started with good intentions, and lose interest after a short time.
Inspiration is a completely different animal, though. The inspiration is entirely self-generated and comes from within. When I wrote my first book, for example, I wake up every morning excited. Go to work, pay bills, take the kids to school, make meals and do laundry and business activities are not exactly inspire anyone. But he wonders, “Why do not I have an inspired life?” “Why am I not the love of my life?” If you examine your life, you never see things you do not like making decisions come from inspiration! The answer is that the state of being with which he has created his work, and which continue to create their work, not self-inspired! To the extent that these reasons were not knowingly and consciously chosen, your experience will be less enjoyable.
In the mathematics of fractals, the initial conditions are created and then the fractal is generated from a series of repeated statements that fuel each other. [Fractal image of a seahorse. Sorry, but the images are not allowed in this article] A fractal is extremely sensitive to changes in the initial declaration. When the first statement is slightly modified, a result fractal entirely new [another seahorse, but has a completely different]
Life is the same way. Decision or intention to guide their actions and how you feel, until another of the decision or intention.
As a fractal, a review of his life in a conscious way can lead to a new way of seeing your work, your family or your relationships. It may also lead to new decisions and new intentions and on the basis of inspiration!
The difference between motivation and inspiration is very subtle but very effective.
Exercise:
1) Write a life zone that does not go as well as you’d like.
2) Examine your thoughts and beliefs in this area.
3) Examine the list and decide if there are ways that you can change these thoughts in a more positive direction.
If you can perform this exercise in one area of ??your life, not just addressing the issue differently, but may even discover a completely new and inspiring direction for your life.
